What you’ll do: Set up the general information for your application. Why it matters: Provide essential app details that are shown on marketplace for end users.

Steps:

  1. Declare basic info: Enter the basic information about your application, including:

App Name*

App name is unique across Oten ecosystem. The name will be visible to users in the Store that is the key to enable searching to seek for.

App Category*

The category that best describes your app, used for classification and marketplace discovery.

App Type*

The type of app you are creating (e.g., game, service, AI).

App ID

A unique identifier automatically assigned to your app by the Oten ecosystem. Used for versioning, publishing, and API integration.

Subtitle

A short tagline or phrase that summarizes your app. Displayed under the app name in Marketplace listings.

Tags / Keywords

Keywords that help users find your app via search and discovery. You can add up to 5 tags per app.

Age Rating

Indicates the minimum recommended age of users for your app (e.g., 3+, 7+, 13+, 18+). Used for compliance and visibility filtering.

Copyright

The legal copyright holder of the app content or assets. Typically your company or individual developer name.

App size

Indicates the approximate size of the app package (after compression). Helps users estimate download time and device storage requirements. The value can be entered manually (e.g., 150 MB, 1 GB)

In-app purchase

Specifies whether the app contains in-app purchases (IAP) such as virtual items, premium content, or subscription plans. Options: Yes / No.

Description

A detailed overview of your app’s features, purpose, and functionality. The content offer an understanding what is your app about.

  1. Provide visual: Enter the visual assets of your application, including:

App logo URL

The direct URL to the logo image of your app. Should be in JPG or PNG format. This logo is displayed on the Oten Marketplace listing and in the user app launcher.

App cover URL

The direct URL to your app’s main cover image. Used as the primary visual banner on the app’s detail page.

App banner URL

The direct URL to a banner image that represents your app. Typically used in promotional sections such as “Featured,” “Trending,” or “New Releases” within the Marketplace.

App video URL

The direct URL to an introductory or video (MP4, WebM). The video appears at the top of your app’s detail page to give users a preview of the experience.

Screenshot URLs

Direct URLs to one or more screenshots (JPG, PNG). Screenshots showcase app UI, features, or in-app scenes. You can add multiple entries using the Add Screenshot button.

  1. Input contact & support: Enter the contact and support information for your application, including:

Website

The official website or landing page of your app or company. This will be app entry point when user click to button "Access app" after subscription. Also It helps users and reviewers learn more about your service or brand.

Privacy URL

The link to your app’s Privacy explaining how user data is collected, used, and protected.

Contact email

The email address for end-user or technical support inquiries. Users will see this on the app’s Marketplace detail page.

Contact phone

The phone number for contacting purpose.

Policy URL

App policy will be consent by end user when subscribe app.

Terms URL

App Terms and Conditions will be consent by end user when subscribe app.

FAQ URL

The link to your external or hosted Frequently asked questions (FAQ) page. Useful if your app provides support or onboarding outside the Oten Marketplace.

Documentation URL

The link to your technical or user documentation (for AI or Service-type apps). Can include API docs, developer guides, or manuals.

Support languages

The list of languages in which your app or support center is available (e.g., English, Vietnamese, Arabic, Japanese). Used to localize support options on Marketplace.

Support countries

The list of countries or regions where your app officially provides support or customer service. Useful for geo-restriction and compliance.

Support platforms

The platforms or device types that your app supports (e.g., iOS, android, webGL, desktop). Displayed in app detail and used for compatibility filtering.

  1. Select Store/MarketplaceStore/: Select the Marketplace where your application will be published.

Property

Description

Oten Store

The default marketplace channel within the Oten ecosystem where your app can be published and discovered by end users.

Selected (toggle)

Indicates whether this distribution channel (Oten/apple store/CH play) is active for your app. When ON, the app will be prepared for publishing on that marketplace.

Allow Rating & Review

When subscribed, users can rate and submit reviews for your app on the Oten Store. Helps improve discoverability and feedback collection.

Visibility

Controls whether your app is publicly visible to users in the Marketplace. If turned off, the app remains hidden or internal (for testing or beta tracks only).

App Version

The version number (e.g., 1.0.0) currently being submitted or live on the Oten Store. Used for tracking updates and change logs.

What’s New

A short text summary describing new features, improvements, or bug fixes in this version. Displayed on the Store app detail page under “What’s New.”

  1. Metadata: Enter the metadata that helps store additional information about your application.

Metadata (JSON Field)

A free-form JSON object where developers can define additional technical or descriptive information about the app. This allows customization or extension beyond standard fields.

Example format: { "app_type": "service", "org_id": "oten_com", "workspace_id": "ws_app" }

  1. Preview app: Helps you preview how the information you’ve provided will appear for your application on the Store.

Common mistakes:

  • Developers may not be sure what information to provide to make their application stand out on the Store.
