Use this guide to sign in to Oten Pass using your email, or create a new account if your email is not registered.
1. Start with your email
Open Oten Pass
Enter your email address
Tap Continue
What happens next?
If your email already exists ā continue to sign in
If your email is not registered ā you will be guided to create an account
2. If your account exists (Sign in)
Option 1: Sign in with password
Enter your password
Tap Sign in
Option 2: Sign in with passkey
Tap Continue with passkey
Confirm using:
Face ID
Fingerprint
Device passcode
š You will be signed in without entering your password
š If 2-step verification is required
After signing in, you may be asked to verify your identity.

If you already have a verification method
Follow the on-screen instructions
Complete verification using your available method
Enter OTP, or
Confirm using Face ID / passkey
š You will be signed in after successful verification
š If you donāt have any verification method set up
You must set up a verification method before continuing.
Set up verification (required)
The system will automatically select the most secure method available
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup
š After setup, you will continue the verification step
ā ļø Important
You cannot skip this step if required by your organization
The method is selected automatically based on your organizationās security policy
Some methods may require additional steps (e.g. biometric approval)
3. If your email is not registered (Sign up)
Step 1: Verify your email
Tap Sign up
Enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your email
š The code will expire after a short time š You can resend the code if needed
Step 2: Create your password
Enter your password
Confirm your password
Tap Continue
š Your password must meet security requirements
Step 3: Account ready
You will see āYour account is readyā
You can:
Tap Continue with Oten Pass, or
Go to Admin Console to complete your organization setup.
What happens next?
If you are the first member of an organization ā you may continue setup
Otherwise ā you will proceed based on your organizationās configuration
4. Troubleshooting
I forgot my password
Tap Forgot password
Follow the instructions to reset your password
I didnāt receive the verification code
Check your email (including spam folder)
Tap Resend code
Make sure your email is correct
The verification code expired
Request a new code
Enter the latest code received
I canāt sign in with passkey
Make sure passkey is set up on your device
Try another sign-in method
I cannot complete verification
Follow the required setup if prompted
Make sure your device supports the method
Iām redirected to another system
This is expected
Your organization uses Oten Identity Platform (IDP)
5. Important notes
Available sign-in methods depend on your organizationās settings
You may be required to complete verification after signing in
Verification methods are enforced based on your organizationās security policy
Only approve requests that you initiated
