iOS & Files tips
Status: The iOS app is in final testing (TestFlight). Details below reflect the MVP and may change before general release.
On iPhone, Oten Drive integrates with the system Files app through a File Provider, so encrypted vaults appear as a location you browse like any other.
Files app integration
Unlock a vault in the Oten Drive app so it mounts as a location in Files.
Inside Files you can view, create, rename, delete, copy/move, and compress files and folders — every operation runs through the encryption layer.
Preview supported file types directly; search files and folders by name.
Edit a file's content and the app persists a new encrypted version.
Unlock & security
Unlock a drive with its password, or with Face ID if you've enabled it in Settings.
A device PIN gates the app after you kill it or log out.
Panic is available on iOS too, running your saved configuration; an administrator can also push a Panic action to your device.
Managing vaults on iOS
My Drive lists your drives/vaults; you can create a drive, create a Shadow Layer, lock/unlock, change password, and remove (Hide / Delete local / Delete all).
Toggle per-vault sync on or off.
Restore your vaults after a reset by importing your User Recovery Key.
Settings
Log out, enable Face ID, and switch the app language from Settings.
