Oten Drive is an end-to-end encrypted file vault. Your files — their contents, names, and folder structure — are encrypted on your device before anything is saved or synced. The cloud only ever stores scrambled ciphertext. Not even Oten can read your files.

Oten Drive gives you two ways to keep files:

• A Drive — everyday encrypted storage with a familiar file-and-folder experience, right inside Finder (macOS) or the Files app (iOS).

• A Vault — an advanced, security-first container that adds Shadow Layers for plausible deniability.

This handbook is concise and practical. Use the path that fits you:

The one idea to remember: encryption and decryption happen only on your device. If you lose your passwords and your Recovery Keys, no one — including Oten — can get your files back. That trade-off is the point.

Availability: Oten Drive is live on macOS. The iOS app is in final testing (TestFlight). Windows, Android, and a web client are not on the current roadmap.
