Overview

As an Org Admin, you control the API Platform budget and rules for your entire organization:

  • You set the speed limits — how fast each workspace can call the KMS API

  • You set the monthly budget — how many API calls each workspace gets per month

  • You set the team size cap — how many encryption keys each workspace can create

FAQ

Q: A workspace is approaching its monthly quota. Increase that workspace’s quota via its custom setting, or raise the Global Default Policy.

Q: I updated the Global Default but one workspace didn’t change. That workspace has a custom setting. Check its row — if it shows “Custom,” update it separately or click “Revert to Global.”

Q: What happens to data when I suspend a workspace? Nothing is deleted. Suspension only blocks API calls. Everything restores on Resume.

Q: Can Workspace Admins see the limits I’ve set? Yes — on their Rate Limit screen, but they cannot change it.
