IDP Terms Of Service

INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF APPLICATION

1.1 Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the access to and use of the digital identity and single sign-on (“SSO”) services provided by OXU IDENTITY (“OXU”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of the Services, the User (“User” or “you”) acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, along with any policies or documents incorporated by reference.

1.2 Scope of Services

The Services provided under these Terms exclusively encompass identity and authentication capabilities delivered by OXU IDENTITY, including but not limited to:

  • Digital Identity Authentication

  • Single Sign-On (SSO)

  • Personal Identity Accounts for Individual Users

  • Business Identity Accounts for Organizations

  • Security and Access Control Features (such as session management, multi-factor authentication (MFA), passkeys, credential binding)

  • Domain Ownership and Managed Identity Accounts

These Services are designed to establish a unified and secure digital identity infrastructure for both individuals and organizations. OXU IDENTITY does not provide application hosting, marketplace, developer platform or open integration services under these Terms. Such services, if offered in the future, will be governed by separate terms.

1.3 Applicability

These Terms apply to:

  • Individual Users (Personal Accounts) who register their own identity account for personal use.

  • Organizations or Enterprises (Business Accounts) who register and administer identity services on behalf of their employees, members, or other authorized users under their domain.

Users who access the Services through an account provisioned or managed by an organization acknowledge that such organization may define and enforce authentication policies, access rights, and account controls.

These Terms become effective at the earlier of: (a) the date the User accepts the Terms, or (b) the date the User first accesses or uses the Services, and remain in effect until terminated in accordance with these Terms.

1.5 Relationship with Other Policies

These Terms are to be read together with the following documents, which form an integral part of the Terms and apply to the User’s use of the Services:

  • Privacy Policy

  • Data Processing Policy / Data Processing Addendum (DPA) (where applicable)

  • Security Policy

  • Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

  • Service Level Agreement (SLA) (if applicable)

In the event of a conflict between these Terms and any related policy, these Terms shall prevail unless a specific policy explicitly states otherwise.

1.6 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which OXU IDENTITY is legally incorporated and maintains its principal place of business.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required under mandatory local laws that cannot be waived.
